What is in the set?

To ensure everyone can klouter, you’ll receive:

  • a set of 2000 × 110mm birch ply panels
  • a wooden bar (20kg max)
  • a galvanised steel bar (100kg max)
  • a set of hanging rings
  • and six M8 wall screws to fix your frame

How do I meassure?

Two Measurements. Simple.

  • A. Width of the frame opening

    Inside edge to inside edge of the doorframe.

  • B. Floor to top of the doorframe

    From the floor — or the top of the skirting, if it runs into the doorway — up to the top of the frame.

The panels screw into the frame (both wood or steel frames) one on each side, so both need to take a wall screws

Any width up to 1100mm. The bars and panels are cut to your measurement, so there is no minimum — narrow passages and standard doors both work.

The birch ply panels are a fixed 2000mm. If your doorframe is less, we’ll cut the panels.

How does it mount? Will it damage my frame?2026-09-06T13:14:23+00:00

The KlouterKosyn is securely fastened directly to the door frame or wall using six M8 wall screws — three on each side. All required wall screws are supplied with your KlouterKosyn. It does leave six screw holes, which fill and paint over easily if you ever move it.

The galvanised steel bar is rated to 100kg and the wooden bar to 20kg. The steel bar carries adults; the wooden bar and the rings are for the lighter, younger climbers.

From toddlers hanging off the low bar to adults doing pull-ups. Because the bars move up and down, the same unit keeps working as the children grow.

You do. You’ll need to drill the six holes into your doorframe to fix the panels using the walls screws which are supplied.
